about me

Salus Liang is a graphic designer based in Shanghai.

Born in San Gabriel and raised in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Salus returned to Los Angeles and graduated with honors from the University of Southern California in 2019 with a BA in Communication and minors in Communication Design and Marketing.

Originally pursuing a career in marketing, Salus found herself much more drawn to the creative side of the industry. This led her to hone in on her design skills and eventually become a full-time graphic designer specializing in communication design (Branding, Publication Design, Logo Design, Photography, Creative Direction, etc.).

Her work features a minimalistic style with influences from basketball culture. During her upbringing in Hong Kong and Shanghai, basketball was rising as one of the most popular sports in China. With the sport came the culture - sneakers, streetwear, hip-hop, and art.

She strives to demonstrate deep cultural understanding and creativity in her work through storytelling. She believes that to be in touch with culture is to understand how to truly make someone feel.
